Company History
In 1978, Robi Jalnos started a plumbing business in his mother's garage and named the business Steve's Plumbing to honor
the memory of his father, Stephen Jalnos, who was a Holocaust survivor and plumber. Robi's wife, Eileen,
who obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin and with the experience
she gained at USAA Investment Management Co., joined the company in 1980.
Together in 1981, they purchased the property from which they still operate today. It was not long before Steve's
Plumbing was recognized as one of the premier plumbing contractors in San Antonio. In addition to being a Master
Plumber, Robi Jalnos is the Chairman of the City of San Antonio Plumbing Appeals and Advisory Board.
He holds both a Medical Gas, Multipurpose Fire Sprinkler, and Liquefied Petroleum Gas Certification.
